What Is Hyperhidrosis?

Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition characterized by excessive sweating. It most often affects the underarms, palms, feet, and face. This common condition is not caused by overheating or exercises, it can be caused by medications, medical issues (thyroid issues) or a condition of it's own. Hyperhidrosis is a condition where the body is unable to "turn off" the excess sweat glands on it's own.

Neuromodulators temporarily "turn off" the sweat glands by disrupting the signals to them. This reduces sweating in the treated areas, offering 3-6 months of relief and significantly improving your day-to-day life. (https://www.sweathelp.org/hyperhidrosis-treatments/botox.html)

Do You Struggle with Hyperhidrosis ?

If you're constantly worried about sweat marks or damp palms while not exercising, you're likely experiencing hyperhidrosis. Whether it’s during a presentation or a simple handshake, it really does affect your comfort and confidence— and the majority of people who have it have been managing it privately for years.

What does your assessment cover?

This is your sub-headline

Your assessment is one-on-one with Sarah Morgan, RN. She reviews when the sweating started, where it affects you, what you've already tried, your medical history and current medications, and whether anything else may be contributing — because excessive sweating is sometimes a sign of something worth looking into rather than a standalone problem.

From there she explains which options exist, which are appropriate for you, which aren't and why, and what each costs. Some people leave with a treatment plan. Some leave with a referral. Some leave knowing it isn't something they need to treat at all.

Any treatments decided together require a prescription and is further assessed by Sarah Morgan RN, and will be reviewed and if appropriate, authorized by Dr. Andrew Dargie,  before it is offered.
