What can I expect as a result of Neurotoxin/Botox?
Common side effects of neurotoxin treatments are reddness, minor swelling at the site from the fluid being placed (will disappear shortly after treatment), bruising, and some people experience a headache. After treatment it is recommended you do not lay down for up to four hours post treatment, you should not exert yourself for up to 24-48 hours or press the site of the treatment areas, avoiding hot tubs/saunas and the sun for 24 hours. Also, best to avoid blood thinning medications or herbal supplements.
Full effects of neurotoxin treatments can be expected in 14-21 days. Post treatment check in appointments are recommended to be booked at two weeks.
