What can I expect as a result of my Neuromodulator/Botox treatment?
Common side effects of neuromodulator treatments are small bee-sting like reddened areas at the site from the fluid is being placed (will disappear 10-20 minutes after treatment), might be some minor bruising, and some people may experience a headache.
After treatment it is recommended you remain upright for up to four hours, low level activities for up to 24-48 hours and no pressure at the site of the treatment areas, avoiding hot tubs/saunas and the sun for 24 hours is also recommended. Also, best to avoid blood thinning medications or herbal supplements to minimize risk of bruising.
Full effects of neuromodulator treatments can be felt within 2 days and expected full effect in 14-21 days. Post treatment check in appointments are booked to asses effectiveness.
